A: Vintage Pixels is collection of scanned images that are twenty-five years or older. It is a source for users to download high resolution vintage images that are free-for-use so they can be used at no cost in whatever projects they wish.
Q: Why choose vintage images?
A: With the creation of digital cameras it is easy to get new high resolution images, however, older images need to be scanned in, and they may also be difficult to find.
Q: I don't have a scanner. Can I use a digital camera in lieu of a scanner?
A: As long as you are following our upload guidelines and there's no degradation evident in the image. The quality of every photo is judged on an individual basis.
Q: From Cookie: How do I download pictures once I register on your site?
A: Simply browse or search for a picture, click on the thumbnail to get a medium sized version of the picture. Along with the medium sized picture it will give you some information like who uploaded it, when it was taken, a description, dimensions etc...
